everyone,
we hope everyone had their most exciting independence
day since bill pullman and will smith had to blow
up aliens....the cut*off will be performing 2 shows
this weekend....the first is this friday, july 8th
at the wreck room in fort worth....it's the sample
press (www.samplepress.com)
showcase with a few other great bands....here's
the lineup....
9:30 - doug burr
10:30 - budapest one
11:30 - salim nourallah
12:30 - the cut*off
texasgigs.com will be doing a live broadcast of
the entire show, including band interviews....if

....if 30 fans show up then the squid will get on
stage between sets and sing the entire metallica
ride the lightning album without any music....our
second show is on sunday, july 10th at the vibe
in austin at 9pm....here's 2 reasons you probably
won't be there.....1) it's a sunday 2) you don't
live in austin..... anyway, we'd love to see you
there....big ups to karl and cathy on their new
baby girl....

now fellas,
your favorite band the cut*off will be performing
this friday, june 17th at andy's bar in denton (www.andyslivemusic.com)
....we will be playing around 10:30ish and will
be followed by our friends add-9....friday is kyle's
birthday so be sure to buy him a shot and offer
yourself to him....for those of you who don't make
it to the show, the squid will be waiting for you
outside you house in the rain yelling "coward"....a
fight will surely ensue....in other news, we have
been back in the recording studio and our new ep
should be right around the corner....at the bottom

friend,
don't forget that the cut*off will be playing the
fort worth weekly spring rally '05 this saturday,
april 23rd..... (http://www.fwweekly.com/springrally2005/
).....the festival will be outdoors in the parking
lot of lagrave field in fort worth....it will probably
be the most exciting thing to happen since sauce
caught his hand on fire while trying to drink a
flaming dr pepper....the whole thing starts around
11am and the cut*off will be playing at 3pm.....also
on the bill are well known artists such as the bottle
rockets and the smithereens....you can find the
complete band listing at the spring rally website....we
realize it's the same day as the nfl draft, but
we hope you choose us (nobody wants to play for
the browns)....the squid has agreed to wear bicycle
shorts and a belly shirt to the show, so that will

friends,
the cut*off will be performing this friday, march
25th, at axis in fort worth....we've never played
there but we hear good things.....not like the things
we heard about boyd and that buffalo bob guy.....they
weren't good....anyway, we know it's short notice,
but hopefully we can see some of you out there....it's
a good show with us playing at 10pm, followed by
oliver future and chatterton....come early and we'll
have some drinks to stay warm and kill collected
memories....the squid has agreed to play strip poker
with the first 9 guys who show up so wear plenty
of layers and bring your pocket aces....

hello
friend,
if you are a fan of aaron neville or pancakes then
be sure to come out to see kyle from the cut*off
play an acoustic show at the garage in denton this
friday, february 18th....the garage, formerly muther's,
is located on legendary fry street....kyle plays
around 10:30 and will go all night....we'll no doubt
be dealing some cds and counterfeit blue jeans from
the car hole....so come on out and have some drinks
and steroids with the band and our friend jose canseco....we're
pretty hardcore, so we'll be shooting the juice
directly into our tracheas (who else is going to
hit the nomo slider?)....the squid tells me he has
something special planned for the first 16 fans....he
keeps saying his milkshake brings all the boys to
the yard, but I'm not sure what that means....we
hope to see you all this weekend....if you see boyd,
tell him his hair looks great, he's growing it out....

minions,
the cut*off will be performing an acoustic show
this thursday, january 27th at texas jive on fry
street in denton....we're playing an acoustic show
because jake is out of town getting a second opinion
on something called a brain cloud....our acoustic
sets are always a bit strange, but never as bad
as lazlo hollyfeld in his pajamas....we go on around
10:15 and will be followed by rezonwood....the first
20 fans will be invited to the squid's birthday
party at tornado terry's....be sure to check out

2005
space odyssey and the cut*off

Dear
Friend,
It is 2005 and time for the cut*off to ring in the
New Year. We will be playing at the Liquid Lounge
in Dallas on Thursday Jan. 13th around 11:12 p.m.
Get there early for libations with the cut*off.
The squid has agreed to eat one hard boiled egg
for every person that comes to see the cut*off.
Also the cut*off will be playing The Tsunami Relief
Concert on Saturday January 15th at the Granada
Theater, (3524 Greenville Ave. 214-824-9933). All
proceeds will be going to UNICEF. The show will
be all ages (anyone under 17 will need a guardian).
$12 cover - 11 bands (doors at 4:30pm)
There will be tons of prizes raffled off...Guitar
Center is putting up a Fender Strat and several
local restaurants and shops have given gift certificates.
